What would you like to know about it? This is a 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T with the 5.7L Hemi. I’ll be renting it for a couple of days and I’d like to answer questions you may have. What things would you like to know? Interior things? Exterior things? How it drives? Post your questions below.

It’s huge, we all know that already. Is the 5.7 enough to get the tires spinning easily? I’m guessing so, because the standard tire is 245 all seasons IIRC.

It would be cool to see or read a review of an adult sitting in the back seats. I’ve attempted to sit in the back of the ‘18 mustang with no luck. But I did fit 4 adults into it; not comfortably, but I did it. Everyone claims the Challenger has the larger back seat of the three, but by how much?

Much, much bigger. The trunk is huge, too. When I seriously considered a Scat Pack, fitting my son’s hockey goalie gear was a requirement, and it did. I also climbed into the back seat, I’m 6’4”. Would I live back there, no, but I at least could fit.

I never did drive an  R/T.

Thats a very good question. I’ll make sure to cover back seat  space.

The V6 has enough to get the tires spinning easily mated to the 8-speed auto.

The Challenger fits 2 adults comfortably in the back seat.

what  is the approximate space in the glove compartment, in terms of frozen burritos?

Probably why it outsold the Mustang & Camaro in Q3 2019, even as old as it is. It’s a fun car that actually fits adults and not just kids (or double amputees) in back.

Who’d you rent from, and what’s the daily rate?

There’s plenty of reviews that say, “oh yeah the back seat is fine.” but they never specify. Next auto show, I’ll try to sit in the back of one for a while and see how I feel. Probably get a bunch of weird looks, but its for science.

How can I explain to my wife that I need a Scat Pack Shaker in IndiGo Blue?

Just to make sure I answer your question correctly, what would you like me to specify/ focus on in regards to the backseat space?

Even in V6 trim it’s a fun car.

We’ve thought about buying one for our run around and we have 3 kids to carry with us and realistically, once the new van is paid off, we likely will.

Whether or not an adult can fit in the back seats with the front seats in an operable position.

I am 6' 3" and can sit in back seat no issue.. just have to have a 5'10" person in front seat. If front seat is all the way back there is no back seat legroom. If front seat goes half way, lots of rear leg room.

I had a 2010 R/T and now a 2019 ScatPack. They definitely fit adults in back seat, 3 can fit , 2 comfortably. I have two car seats for my 3 and 7 year olds in the   back of mine now. My family of four use it as alternative to our Durango Citadel on the weekends a lot of the time. The 5.7 could move nice and spi n the tires, my 6.4 Scat my is on another level though. I love my Challenger.

Would the suspension, drivetrain, and power train be easy to cut out and put into my Rampage?

Actually drove and reviewed one in the past. It was a 2018 with the shaker, 6 speed manual . Lots of fun to be had! (shame less self promotion: )

My question about the 5.7's capabilities is because I would LOVE to own a scat pack. But obviously, the 5.7 would be easier to attain. I was hoping someone would say, “the 5.7 is sluggish, you NEED the 6.4.”

I own a 19 challenger and had 4 adults in it a week ago. I had to sit closer to steering wheel than I like but we all fit. It’s not ideal but more room than an 80s Camaro from high school days that I got stuck In when i didnt yell shotgun quick enough. The challenger has almost no rear leg room when i have my seat in my normal position but a middle ground can be found. If all 4 passengers are over 6ft and 250lbs make sure you y ell shotgun...

Two things:

1. If you were to buy it, is the 5.7 adequate for fun - or would you be kicking yourself for not getting the 392?

2. Does the passenger footwell pinch in from the center console? Saw it one Challenger that my wife sat in and she was not a fan - though that might have been because it was an AWD Challenger GT
